The American Legion and McGruff® "The Crime Dog" are working together to help your Local Post, Auxiliary or Squadron make the community and its children safer.The National Crime Prevention Council, home of McGruff®, has approved a McGruff® Safe Kids Identification Kit-The American Legion Edition that can be the basis for a great family outreach in your community. Designed to help parents communicate with children ages 4 years old to 12 years old, the program can be purchased by your Legion Post at special rates and passed out at key locations throughout the community or at special events.
